Co-headlining the Main Stage at Creamfields with Tiesto, I was recommended to LD Mylo's slot, from previous work I have done with the Filthy Dukes, Passion Pit and the Noisettes. Mylo's music is well known to many, and tracks such as 'Drop the Pressure' and 'Paris 400' are a universally known, even if dance music isn't to your taste.
Part of this show was also to promote Mylo's forthcoming album, which I had on pre-release to learn the music.
The main stage rig consisted of:
24 x High End X.Spot Extreme
24 x High End PC Beams
18 x Martin Atomics
24 x Pixel Line 1044
Plus the usual selection of Parcans, Moles and Source 4's
As an extras package, supplied by Neg Earth, I added:
08 x Pixel Line 1044
08 x High End PC Beam
06 x Atomic Strobe
01 x Wholehog 2 & Wing
Lighting was pre-programmed by me in my Sun Lounge on a Hog 2, with nothing but a preview monitor for company. After a few Position Pallets and Shape Generator updates, we were ready to go on site, after a brief issue with a floppy disc.
"Thank you so much, the lighting was great! For this to be the first time I have worked with you, and have lighting like this, its great" Mylo enthusiasts after the show.
I hope to be working with him again in the near future.
