The Mission
I was asked by The Mission's Manager George Allen to provide Lighting Design Services for The Mission's European Tour in 2007.
Technology:
Due to the budget, I only took a desk, kindly lent to me by Avolites, which was a Diamond 4. For the Shepherds Bush show, extras were supplied by Entec.
The Mission are a band formed by ex-Sisters of Mercy members. The Mission are well known for songs such as Wasteland and Butterfly on a Wheel. With a new album released in April 2007, May was a time to tour and promote the album, so we toured extensively around countries including Sweden, Germany, France and Denmark to name a few.
In the UK we visited Wolverhampton, Manchester and Scotland - finished by a sell-out show at Shepherds Bush Empire.
